Conservative peer Michelle Mone to take leave of absence from Lords

  1. “Baroness Mone has not voted in the Lords since April and has not spoken in a debate since March 2020.”

  2. She turned having tits – *a boast shared by more than 50% of the planet* – into a career that’s lasted a lifetime

You have to respect that level of hustle

  3. No wrong doing here….Nothing to see…move on. Most 3 week old companies get awarded MASIVE government contracts.

“Between May and June 2020, PPE Medpro was awarded two government contracts worth £203m to supply masks and medical gowns.

Unusually, the company was only a few weeks old when it signed the first of these agreements.”

  4. Has something changed at the BBC or in the Mone case this week? Prior to yesterday, the BBC has had a complete blackout on the matter, with no articles published about her or her situation in around 7 years. Seems odd they’ve only now started covering it.

  5. During the 2011 London Riots Mone said that people who kill and steal shouldn’t have any human rights and wanted the army to march into London.

Two hundred thousand people died of covid in this country. Forty-thousand for every one killed during the riots. Meanwhile our government sought to line the pockets of their chums rather than finding the most efficient solution.

If we go my Mone’s own logic, she would belong in Guantanamo Bay rather than the House of Lords.

  6. I am not defending her in the slightest, but has anyone noticed the timing of Hancock releasing his supposed bombshell expose on her.

Hear me out but I think there’s an alternative angle here:

Mone was frustrated at the opaque system of awarding contracts and noticed things being awarded to random companies (that happened to be owned my Tory MP’s wives) and, frustrated with the process, she sends an angry email to Hancock about it. He now uses that email to turn the tables and accuse her of the corruption in a bid to cover up all the other corruption by Hancock’s mates.

It just seems like a situation constructed by the Tories to divert the attention away from themselves. Hancock wouldn’t have thrown her under the bus like this if she was really part of the club, and she became the perfect fall guy as everyone hates her enough anyway.

  7. I know one shouldn’t judge a book by the cover but she has the face of a disney villain in the pic I am seeing in the news outlets. Reading up on her background is appalling. Blackened heart and entirely void of empathy.

    What a cunt.

  8. I wish she’d take a leave from politics and scurry off to whichever tax haven she’s buried the £29m quid and never return.

  9. I think she’ll be the one that a future government makes an example of.

Looking forward to her serving a good few years.

  10. Is she going to get properly done for being a thieving cunt? She needs 10 – 15 years in jail for stealing public money.

  11. By all accounts it was her former husband that built ultimo into what it was as all her solo ventures since have crashed and burned or been outright you can be me for a price / crypto scams

  12. Incredible on every level but standard Tory party practice … morally corrupt, self serving privilege

Amazing how she’s not suspended but taking leave of absence … “nothing to see here, move along”

Last week Sunak had a £1.5 million statue delivered to number 10 for the garden … crisis what crisis

UK politics is beyond toxic & broken …
