I heard about that yesterday. Very sad. I pass that nursing home on my commute to and from work. It’s a very busy road and there’s a bend either side of the entrance. RIP.
That’s so sad. I was driving on the M50 at night recently and saw an elderly man walking down the inner verge. I rang the Gardaí and they came straight out to check. I was afraid it would be something like this tragedy.
I was driving on the n7 at 6am the other morning and there was an elderly man in a car pulled in on the grass verge beside the fast lane facing the wrong direction. He had his hazards on and it looked like he had drove the wrong way down an off ramp. Rang the guards as it was too dangerous to stop. I hope they were able to help him out of the situation and also make sure he is fit to drive in the future.
