Germany is fixing it, but sure it took a lot of time
I’m glad you pointed out the ideology of the paper. I think (correct me if I’m wrong) many Germans think that their governments are only disliked and or distrusted by conservatives/nationalists in central/eastern Europe.
In Poland the governing party is obviously skeptical of Germany but the liberal opposition is never hesitant to criticize Germany for its energy, foreign, and even migrant policies. I think the former is simply reported more in the news and it’s where this misconception comes from.
They are 100% correct the German stance on this entire war has infuriated me beyond comprehension. The irony of their stubbornness is insane.
