I don’t know how many times this has to be repeated, the NIP was negotiated by a British government, ratified in Westminster and the EU parliament. The then British PM boasted about how great a deal it was before turning it on it purely as a means to keep EU bashing alive.

This has never been expressed by Sinn Féin, which is smart politics on their part, in my opinion. Keeps their options open.
