Labour’s door now ‘closed’ on Corbyn return, says Wes Streeting

  1. Who put 50p in this w*nker?

Genuinely, why is he plastered all over the papers lately?

He’s a vile human being who cares and considers his own narrow viewpoint of the world and everyone outside of that is a “trot”.

  2. Now? I’m quite disturbed to find out that “now” is when it became official. I was convinced it was about three years ago when it bloody well should have been official.

  3. The Tories would love Corbyn back I guess as he’s such an easy target and a convenient distraction to wheel out when needed.

Can already hear Sunak saying some bullshit like “We may have committed mass fraud and wasted £billions, but Labour bought back CORBYN!” (cue cheers from the backbenches and CON +5)

  4. Tony Benn predicted this decades ago…

    >“If the Labour Party could be bullied or persuaded to denounce its Marxists, the media – having tasted blood – would demand next that it expelled all its Socialist and reunited the remaining Labour Party with the SDP to form a harmless alternative to the Conservatives, which could then be allowed to take office now and then when the Conservatives fell out of favour with the public. Thus British Capitalism, it is argued, will be made safe forever, and socialism would be squeezed of the National agenda. But if such a strategy were to succeed… it would in fact profoundly endanger British society. For it would open up the danger of a swing to the far-right, as we have seen in Europe over the last 50 years.”

  5. I almost forgot to wish Keir Starmer’s wife a happy hannukah.

I’m so glad all the media immediately stopped looking into anti-semitism the minute he assumed the leadership position.

  6. Wes Streeting a foul creature whose only policy contributions seem to be actively anti Labour. Corbyn at least wanted to help people, he wasn’t a strong enough leader and I can’t quite forgive him for not coming down harder on the anti-Semitic parts of Labour but he’s better than this cretin. Though that’s a low bar.

  7. Fuck off Wes, Corbyn is and was the only man who can sort this Shit out, and its us who decide who we want To lead, and we say the door is never closed.
Myself and my wife have met Jeremy Corbyn and he Is a great man with great morale,
I’d rather him, than a bunch of criminals and pussies at the Helm!

  8. After the disaster of the 2019 election Corbyn should’ve just gone out with some dignity and said he’d retire at the next election – no matter your political opinion his entire brand and everyone associated with it is completely toxic to the average voter

  9. The irony is that Corbyn is the Prime Minister that Britain sorely needs today. A mised opportunity to thrive.

  10. Corbyn should admit that the Labour party is lost to right wing neoliberals, leave, and start a new party for actual socialists who are no longer represented by anyone in British politics.

  11. Can’t threaten violence here can I?

    Hmmmmm

I hope he and the entire Tory party’s teas are watery and weak and their toaster burns their toast

  12. I will vote labour, but only because they are still quite a bit better than the Torries.
We are not a presidential system, they won’t be done true socialist for us to rally and support.
We nearly had that with Corbyn and all the press destroyed him, even the ‘left’.
We need to make it so the most profitable thing for business is to have socialist views or they will never let us win.
Atm this isn’t about who is perfect it’s about who is better. It’s still labour.
Vote for an alternative, throw away your vote but then do not cry when it’s the Tories again.

  13. Well obviously that’s good, but I don’t know anyone who’s still concerned or thinking about what he’s doing? Not sure why we’re still talking about him.

  14. Bring back Jeremy. We want Jeremy. One of the few socialists ever to be in the Labour Party. Now sadly excluded. You can vote Labour but you won’t be voting for socialism. Sir Keir is really a red Tory and Wes Streeting a complete wanker.

  15. He offers no benefit. He is a total distraction from what labour is trying to do and is as likely to start spouting about putin as he is to follow the party line.
