its cold, its icy, its dark most of the time and its foggy too. you dont need to be riding my cars hole when im doing the speed limit(or a safe speed when the roads frozen). you dont need to be going ten miles over the speed limit just because you have a big car and bad things never happen you

  2. The safest thing to do in situations like this is allow the other car an opportunity to pass at the earliest safe opportunity.

    You having them right up your arse is only going to make you nervous and divert your attention from the road ahead.
    Them being “stuck” behind you is only going to make them frustrated and more aggressive.

    It’s just a recipe for a bad day all around.

    You’re never going to change their behaviour & you being in the right doesn’t really matter when something has gone wrong and everyone is picking bits of windshield out of their face.

    Let them pass and everyone go about their day.

    people do this on every road not just duel carriageways you shouldnt be riding other peoples hole in the car anywhere wait till its safe and overtake.

    its no excuse to put everyone in danger just because the person in front isnt going at the speed you like

  7. OH YOU THINK THIS IS SLOW? I CAN GO SLOWER! I find once you get down to about 20mph they’ll either overtake or back off and you can get back up to a reasonable pace.

  8. If I get that they get the rear fog light on and I decrease the cruise control by 2km/h for every 30 seconds or so they are still riding my bumper. They soon get the idea.

    I do the same when the conditions are bad and not using the cruise control. Some people aren’t comfortable driving in less than idea conditions and you’ll come across people driving far too slow but you just have to accept that in weather like this, 5 mins on your journey isn’t going to kill you

  14. I’m actually shocked that such little people are aware of fog lights. The other night was very very dense fog and some muppets were going around with full beams and most were going around with the regular headlights on. I seen 1 other car out of probably 200 or more with fog lights on.

  15. Fair enough but what speed were you going? And what was the speed limit? I ask because on my countryside commute which is 100kph people are driving 60kph which is ridiculous and self absorbed

  23. The ol window washer trick… If you spray your window washer and the car behind has to use their wipers, I’ve been finding they back off a little. I’ve tried it about 3 times since I heard of it a few weeks ago. However, my window washers have been frozen lol.

    But yeah, it pisses me off so much people up me hole

  26. I’m not saying this to be a dick but you are far the better person and driver for just pulling over and letting them go (if safe to do so of course).

    If they want to speed and act the bollocks and be aggressive then that’s their idiotic perogative. At least if you pull over you’ve protected yourself and then they are only endangering themselves.

    Some people try and “stand their ground” so to speak or else get into pissing matches by brake checking etc. You’ve then let yourself be dragged down to their level and you’re creating more danger.

    None of this is excusing their behaviour. Experience has just told me to treat such things as another obstacle such as a stop sign or red light and act appropriately.

  27. What I find frustrating is I’ll want to go, let’s say 130, so I set my adaptive cruise control at max distance and that speed.

    Cars in front never move over because I’m not super close pressuring them and dickheads undertake and fill the gap I leave making me slow down more.

  28. Agree to a point. But those cunts doing 60 in a 100 zone while more and more cars join the queue behind them can fuck off. Yesterday I was on a road behind a car for 20 minutes and by the end of the road there was more than 12 cars behind us. There’s being cautious and there’s being a prick.
