Bit naive of Turkey to expect Sweden would extradite this man, who would run a serious risk of getting an unfair trail and/or inhuman treatment when in Turkey. NATO should not be held hostage to unreasonable demands and certainly not by a NATO member.

From PL perspective Sweden and Finland’d be more useful ally- to control baltic see etc, but from US (or overall NATO perspective) Turkey is one of 2-3 most important player in ally/ ;/ Both key geopolitical position and big army.
It is just a show. Both parties are creating it. There are other much mote important reasons not related to Sweden at all, why Turkey is not ratifying. And Sweden does it best to solve it.
Do not understand why Sweden is still going ahead with this. Sweden does not need NATO. We have enough friends in Northern Europe. Just support Finland who would be in more need. Sweden should just retract its application and thank the supporting nations for their support. Then of course veto any EU support for Turkey.
