Oddly specific, I know, but a friend of mine who collects historical curious, asked me about it and I have no clue. The Text on the bill says:
De Bur: “Gau! De Miäkens int Schapp! De Domherr Kummt!!”
Picture of the whole bill: https://imgur.com/a/riAmYuq
I read it as the girls being hidden from the priest…but why? Was sexual abuse from the priesthood already common enough in the 1920s that it was literally a joke on Notgeld?

That is NOT a valid, state-issued bill, this is a joke one.
The Text above says that the joke refers to ancient customs of the region described.
So instead of modern day abuse by priests, this might make light of very very old practices (Think 1700 and earlier, judging by the clothes in the comic).
What those practices might have been, no clue, you’d have to do research on that.
But yes, the couple is hiding their daughters from the priest.
