Congratulations. I’m also from the U.S. and got my temporary residency approval a few weeks ago. I love living in Poland, having visited here many, many times over the years. I’ve often been asked by Polish folks who seem surprised: “Why would you live in Poland instead of the States?” The simple answer is that my wife is from here and we both prefer to raise our son here. Long answer is that having worked and lived in a few other countries, and visited many, Poland is among my favorites.
I need a real story of Lucy & Kusy for a change. 😉 [a cultural refernece]

Nice i today officially became a Polish citizen as well
I really love having a polish citizenship because I can live anywhere in the EU with one. They should probably restrict that system a bit, but I personally really love the idea.

It brings a tear to my eye seeing Poland being a place for others from different countries, to travel here to live, work or study. While remembering back in 2005 and years later, when being an immigrant in the UK, when people thought Poland is somewhere in Syberia, without internet or tv. 🥹

Did you have to pass a talking exam? I’m considering it aswell in the near future my polish wife wants to move back to poland in a few years
