To be fair to the man, he has come from left field to be the most respectable member of U2. Doc on Francis Bacon was good and he was a well versed but inquisitive presenter. Was a bit much to stretch an hour out of a holiday Bacon took in Ireland with a lover – but it opened up some interesting questions about how much shite Bacon spouted when holding court in Soho.
