Brexit ‘fantasies’ have made ‘severe challenges’ in NHS worse and could widen health inequalities, report finds

People were told this and applications from the EU went down sharply as soon as the result came in, both the increased xenophobia and uncertainty over right to remain put off a lot of applicants immediately. Leave voters were happy as they thought it meant more jobs for British workers but ignored that nurses were already grumbling and leaving the NHS to go private or work abroad back in 2016.

  2. Can’t shake the feeling that it’s over – Brexit has ruined the UK long-term and it’s not a viable place to raise my kids. I don’t really see a way out for us.
