So I’ve read that people in Norway usually order stuff from Germany or the UK (maybe Swedish Amazon is a reasonable option too). But is there an Amazon analog in Norway?
I order most of my stuff, including furniture and whatnot, from online retailers (now, though, having sold some furniture on a local analog of [finn.no](https://finn.no), I’m thinking about buying used furniture in the future on [finn.no](https://finn.no) instead of new furniture elsewhere). And when there’s a retailer that aggregates most items at one place, it is practical to shop there.

There isn’t a single huge Norwegian online retailer. We just have to use several different ones, or visit shops located in meatspace.
No, there isn’t. There’s a couple of aggregated retailers, but they don’t cover everything like Amazon does. For instance, Elkjop.no covers a lot of external retailers who sells everything from kitchen appliances to workout bikes, and Komplett.no covers most things electronics. But for the most part, you’ll just have to look around to find someone who sells wat to want.
Prisjakt.no covers the price of a good selection of sites, letting you easily find the cheapest one (and check for scammy sales, of which there are many). But the purchase itself has to be done within the site itself
Both Amazon.de and Amazon.com is enrolled into the Norwegian VAT system VOEC tho, so the vat will show up in your shopping cart, and will be paid ahead of time (which also means you won’t be getting a $30+ customs fee on top). This does, unfortunately, not cover food items, as there is a separate sugar tax which needs to be handled at the customs, and therefore can’t be covered in VOEC
There’s a Swedish Amazon?
I’ve had some luck with Amazon UK for some things, but I’ll never order from Amazon Germany again, huge headache.
You’re better off ordering from Norwegian sites, especially if there is any chance you’ll want to return it.
