  3. FIFA is corrupted and evil, yes. But that’s not the point here. I work in marketing (not in FIFA, of course), so let’s take a look from this point of view.

    Mundial is a product, just like any other you can buy off the shelf. It’s thought through, produced, advertised, and delivered. You control the entire process. This product has a vibe. It’s advertised as a celebration, full of fun and positive emotions, in utopian world united by football.

    And there comes this video. It’s grim. It’s black and sad. The voice is harsh. The content is about war and division. It’s all against the product you take care of! But there is more—if you air it, you’ll get to air the Russian clip within days. The product you advertise as fun now becomes heavy and unpleasing.

    FIFA is corrupted and evil. There’s no doubt about that. But this video was impossible to release – and I think Ukrainians knew it well. The real aim was to make it go viral on the Internet. And that’s what we are doing here. 🙂 Slava Ukraini.
