Getting on with the Job

  1. It’s going to be a fun two years of the Leo fan club losing their shit any time he tweets something.

  2. It’s all these little things, tiny, insignificant little lies, that all combine to produce that sense of unease about this character.

  3. Saw the video. It was very professionally done, like a movie trailer.

does this mean the Taoiseachs Strategic Public Relations unit is back?

  4. 3 days back and leo has brought back the grand ol’ stretch in the evening. What a guy.

Did you know Sinn fein hate long sunny evenings?

  5. on a less serious.. more aesthetic note, does anyone find the colour scheme and furniture of this office ugly.. Every time I see it I want it redecorated.

  6. Its not the fact that there was an error in the video, its the fact that the video implies at 5pm, when most people stop work, he is just getting started.

  7. It’s just so cringe to be such a proud irish person and then see that video. It even looked like he seen the camera. Ye everybody We are all great respectful loyal people, except our leader. We are all clapping ourselves for having a gay leader of government, but I bet gay institutions are cringing now. That fecker being a stereotype, but hush. Just like pavee point on Rathkeale.

  8. Fucking jackass. Even if he wasn’t pretending to actually do a day’s work what fucking work are you supposed to be doing at a desk with no papers or pc, just a powered off video unit and a phone?

“Hold on while I take this call that I can have literally no way of referencing anything more complex than my opinion on what someone tells me about how a country should be governed.”

    Hurr fucking durr ya cunt.

  9. I have a controversial opinion with little or no evidence to back it up but here we go. The media advisors employed by government members don’t actually provide any valuable advise to the politicians they serve. Most of these positions are filled by former journalists and editors. I think these cushy jobs were created mainly to give members of the media more incentive to write favourable pieces about the government.

journalists Who fall in line get offered jobs with 100k salary + perk/pension. Political journalists who investigate/point out problems get blackballed. They are the last to get insider information from Leo the leak and has zero chance of getting a public job as as media advisor.

  10. Doesnt this just show us that he’s a total and utter liar and comfortable with any bullshit being peddled? Like it’s a small thing, but like with all the small things with this guy it shows he doesn’t give a flying fuck.

Like the sheer lack of morals with faking up for a photo shoot his bowed head “paying respect” to fallen soldiers when he’s obviously just been told to get over there for a “good shot”.

It’s why (at least I think why) the whole video thing is fair game. It’s a fundamentally moral role he has, and he’s showing he’s a fundamentally immoral person

Like am i surprised the guy who’s up to that in the video is the guy trying to use the memorial in Merrion sq to gain political points or lying about what he’s doing on his first day? Nope.
