Got Covid for the first time in early November. Still coughing, still having energy crashes.
Would hate to see what it would have been like if I wasn’t vaxxed.
Should bring back mandatory mask wearing over the winter at least, for crowded places.

Wife came down with covid for 2nd time uploaded antigen test and I was surprised she got a call back from the HSE yesterday, I got covid last month did same and not a thing heard back even gp said just ride it out you’ll be fine,their definitely worried about the numbers this month it seems to be everywhere.
I would be fine with mandatory mask wearing in crowded public spaces in the winter if it meant less over crowding in hospitals.

Does anybody have any idea when they are going to start offering the COVID booster to people under 50 ? They started offering it to 55-60 in August and haven’t updated it since September.

Covid has destroyed everyones’ immune system. Winter is going to be like this every year now.
I seen with the world cup too like half the people who went over there got very unwell, yet everyone didn’t want to acknowledge the existence of covid so you can’t be sure what it was.
Been sick 3 times this year, Covid, Flu & Gastroenteritis.
Wouldn’t wish any of them on my worst enemy.
I can feel a tingle in the back of my throat and my sinus in my nose is beginning to go raw. Negative antigens.
Nearly everyone at work was spluttering around me for the past 2 days.
Why the fuck were they even in?

Edit: Turns out it’s COVID. Folks told me not to come home for Christmas. I haven’t been anywhere to pick it up as I did my Christmas shopping online and haven’t been to a grocery shop in a week as I was using up the last bits before going home for Christmas. So my Christmas is fucked because of a few Cunts (with a capital C) at work.

Can confirm, hit harder than COVID. Taste lost, coughing mucus heavily. It’s a miserable one.
I feel like flying/bussing home for Christmas is going to be challenging.
This is the first winter I can remember where I’m not feeling like my head is bunged up or have no cold/flu or any kind of sickness
2 weeks sick with it. Nonstop cough and headaches with other random issues like a bad case of viral pink eye. I’m a healthy 24 year old and I had the actual flu 2 months ago and this is not it
