I’m glad to see Pauline McGlynn has made peace with her own legacy as Mrs Doyle. It was a real pity she didn’t take part in the documentary about the show in 2011

It’s great she now realises what a fantastic show she was in. For years she seemed to want nothing to do with it.
They both look fantastic after so many years. It’s such a shame the main actor passed away as they were all really talented.

Crazy to think how ago it all was now. I was 14 in 1998 so surely the humour must be lost on the younger generation.
It would be like a 14 year me in 1999 trying to watch a comedy from 1970. Can’t think of anything from them I find remotely funny apart from Fawlty Towers
I know it’s kind of a stylised set for the photoshoot – but is that a pink velour cistern downpipe? Because that’s the most 70s thing I’ve seen in a while.
