Braverman “This is just further proof that we need to change the law to allow us to leave illegal boat people to live in squalor for daring to claim Asylum”
Maybe I’m missing something but.
I’m guessing asylum seekers are housed at the cost of the government, if in some arranged living conditions they would be fed at the cost of the government.
Then it’s an argument of if £40 or £45 a week for clothes and other essentials?
I don’t see the problem unless this is intended to cover other things.
What did the Brexiters call the courts when they didn’t vote their way? Enemies of the people wasn’t it? I would expect the same thing now from The Mail et cetera.
The High Court also found ursine faeces to be predominantly in forested areas.
Process them quickly, tell everyone from a safe country to fuck off, and we’ll be able to afford to give the ones in genuine need a bit more.
Braverman the ex-Attorney-General and head advisor to the government on all matters legal; acted unlawfully?
She won’t care about this ruling. She will double down and insist that she is right, while anyone who cares about the human rights of asylum seekers is considered a bleeding-heart liberal in her mind. She is not concerned about legality or ethics, she only cares about her ideology. Anything that goes against that will not register with her, so the only way to stop her is to remove her from her role permanently.
If she’s broken the law then can’t somebody make a citizen’s arrest and call the police to arrest her?
Don’t hold your breath waiting for an apology or a resignation
I watched V for Vendetta again today, it is scary how much closer we have come to that reality since the last time I watched it in 2010
….and nothing will happen. I agree with the ruling, but it does nothing.
