Poskus 567821: Resnica o pozdravih

  1. All I hear is “živjo” (besides dober dan of course). “Zdravo” only seems to be in advertisements and documents from businesses. Is it just where I am in Slovenia? I’m on the kind of near Italy side. I’ve never heard “serbus” (didn’t even know about it). Are you the weird one? Is this like “hello,” “hi,” “hey,” “yo,” etc? Different levels of formality?

Incidentally, around my village I seem to hear people say “Adijo” as hello to me as I’m passing by. But other Slovenians assure me I’m hearing things. Am I crazy or are they subtly telling me to get lost?

    Edit:

No one has yet refuted this…so I guess I’m the pariah.

  2. Vsi globoko v sebi vemo, da je edini primeren pozdrav: “Hvaljen bodi jezus kristus, božji sin!”

  3. Z živjo pozdravljam moje sovrstnike, ki niso moji nadrejeni. Nevem kaj se tok obremenjujete s faking pozdravi.

    Čaubau

  4. serBus mi gre na živce. Pravilno je serVus. Ne vem zakaj nekateri mladi govorijo serbus. Vedno je bilo servus.
