Anyways – after six months and a rake of back and forth with the lads in Dublin, the smallie’s passport arrived yesterday, and she’s now officially an Irish citizen. As the (American) wife took the photo she shouted “Hurry up, mom!” and afterwards gave me a sly look and went “Yanks dad, amirite?”
Proud out now today, and another big step taken towards hopefully moving home.

How difficult was the process to get her passport? I live in Canada but both my parents are from Ireland and my mom lives there currently. My dad wants me to get my Irish passport asap but I get stressed out by bureaucracy.
