    > The source claims that she violated the order №73. For violation of this order, foreign journalists have already been deprived of accreditation for working in liberated Kherson.

    > The accreditation of Danish journalist Mathilde Kimer was canceled due to violation of the requirements of the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine No. 73 of March 3, 2022. This was reported by a source of “Detector Media” in the Security Service of Ukraine.
    >
    > According to an employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, who asked not to be named for security reasons, the reason for the revocation of accreditation was the journalist’s arrival in Mykolaiv in July 2022. “There she found herself in a place where she should not have been and tried to shoot a report about weapons, which cannot even be talked about,” the source said. The military themselves asked the SBU to check the journalist after the incident, the officer said. After the check, the SBU recommended to the Army Public Relations Department to strip Kimer of her accreditation.

    > “We also have information that she has been to the occupied parts of Ukraine, in particular in Crimea and Donetsk/Luhansk regions, in violation of Ukrainian legislation,” the source said. He also confirmed that Kimer met with representatives of the SBU on December 8 in Kyiv. During the meeting, according to the source, when she asked how to work without accreditation, she was offered to use materials provided by “official sources, such as the SBU”, as other foreign journalists who are unable to be at the front do.

    > Matilda Kimer herself in a conversation with “Detector Media” confirmed that in July she found herself in Mykolaiv where she was not supposed to be: “We did not shoot anything, did not do anything – we just found ourselves where we were not supposed to be. I hoped that this issue was resolved, because after that I made reports with the military for two days, and there were no problems with me.”

    > Let us recall that on August 22, Ukraine revoked the accreditation of the correspondent of the Danish public broadcaster DR Matilda Kimer. According to the journalist, she was offered “cooperation” with the SBU to consider the possibility of returning the accreditation. She was also accused of illegally staying in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and in Crimea. Kimer denies these accusations. Detnektor Media is preparing a material about the circumstances of the deprivation of accreditation of Matilda Kimer.

    > Earlier, on November 13, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that a number of media representatives who violated the rules of work in the liberated Kherson had their work permits revoked and their press cards invalidated. Sources of “Detector Media” reported that work permits were revoked for at least six journalists of film crews, including CNN and SkyNews. Hromadske journalists Anastasia Stanko and Mykola Pastyko also announced the deprivation of accreditation for reporting from liberated Kherson.

This is a serious matter – she could see secret German Wunderwaffle that could cause World War 3 and “escalate”.

All requests should be redirected to Germans – they should deal with this situation and explain her how important it is to keep a low profile and not provoke Russians, “or it’s a World War 3”.

  3. You know, the Dane has a history of conspiring with Russia against countries with blue and yellow flags. 😉

  4. A clear case of breakig the law.

But why not playing the drama queen, backed by the Danish PR machinery

  5. “She found herself in a place where she shouldn’t have been and tried to film a report on a weapon that you can’t even talk about,”

    That’s it.

  6. https://cpj.org/2022/12/ukraines-ministry-of-defense-cancels-accreditation-of-danish-journalist-matilde-kimer/

“Mykhailo told Politiken that Kimer had broken Ukrainian travel regulations three times, citing unauthorized trips to Russian-occupied Crimea in March 2015, to Donbas in 2016-2017, and to the southern Ukrainian Mykolaiv region in July 2022. Kimer said that she traveled to Crimea before Ukraine adopted new rules for entering the peninsula and told CPJ that she did not enter Donbas through Russia in 2016-2017. She told her outlet that she traveled to Mykolaiv without proper authorization because she did not know she needed it; the situation was quickly resolved.”

So she broke the law before it was made by traveling to Crimea in 2015.
She was in Donbas but denies getting there from Russia in 2016-2017.
She was in Mykolaiv in 2022 but the situation was handled at the time.

The claim of weapons that should not be talked about is new. That has not been mentioned before to the Danish broadcasting corporation, nor is this something the foreign ministers of Denmark have mentioned. If it was true, it is doubtfull they would have tried for several months to get her accrediation back or they would appeal to the Ukrainial ambassador to help solve the issue.

    https://zaborona.com/en/famous-danish-journalist-was-deprived-of-accreditation-in-ukraine-sbu-hinted-that-they-consider-her-a-pro-russian-agent-linking-her-old-photos-from-russia/

So it looks like SBU is making claims to get out of an embarrassing situation. But why go through all that trouble instead of admitting a mistake.

If there was something problematic with the highly respected journalist they could have said so to the Danish foreign minister in some of the many meetings with Ukrainian officials, and have the entire story ended there.

Now it just looks like petty excuses.
The foreign journalists that got their accrediation removed after the new Ukrainian travel restrictions got them back again after some months. Matilde Kimer is still waitning for hers, and she “broke” those travel restrictions before the law was made.
