An Energy Company Broke Into This Family’s Home And Cut Off Their Heating

  1. Tad misleading headline, as they didn’t exactly break in, they had a right of entry warrant to install a prepayment meter due to being behind on bills. They didn’t “break in” just to take this person’s heating away, they gained access because these people weren’t paying for what they were using. The failing was that they didn’t enable to top up card.

Its still a gross mishandling of the circumstance, but the headline is needlessly inflammatory.

  2. So, doesn’t pay the bill, ignores court summons and then says “they didn’t listen to me!”

It’s rough but these sorts of situations can generally be avoided by not ignoring letters like this, the judge would have taken the family situation into account and ordered a payment plan etc.

  3. Oh look what website it is….. this will be a totally unbiased article that doesn’t leave out any information iin order to be misleading in any way
