Hospitals told to free up beds for ambulance strike

  1. We will on very right on it… not. Of course what governments means by unblocking beds is to send patients home who no longer need care in hospital but are unsafe to be home. They want hospitals to discharge 90 year old with broken leg because she doesn’t need hospital but offer no help at her house so she will either starve or fall over trying to get something to drink with broken leg. What they mean is sending hobbles person back to the streets after operation because technically they are good for discharge and screw it that is -5C outside. They mean send person with pneumonia to child house when they can’t afford to put heating on etc

Because that’s not what has been causing the problem over the last 2 years?

The only way they are going to free up beds is to kick people out without the support they need to live at home. If it was just a case of ‘freeing up beds’, then this problem wouldn’t happen in the first place.

The Tories and their appointed apparachicks just don’t have a clue!

  3. There no community bed 🤦‍♀️

Do government just think that hospital keep people in for sake of it
