Has anyone seen [this](https://today.rtl.lu/news/luxembourg/a/2008452.html)? I fear that because of the upcoming holidays people won’t realize this is happening. Is there anything we can do to help here? A petition? A hashtag? Or even a protest? It seems all Asselborn did was wag his finger and say no no bad Iran but surely there must be more that can be done to help this fellow Luxembourger? The fact that this is a person from Luxembourg with foreign descent probably makes them even more like you and me and we’re just going to let Iran execute them without a fight? Surely there is more political pressure that can be applied here? Especially since next year is an election year and Asselborn’s party can use all the good press they can get. What do you guys think?

There’s no human rights in Islam and Islamic countries. We’re truly blessed to be living in a free country like Luxembourg.
I mean the guy should have known what he was getting into…we hear how cruel they are all the time… I wish I knew how to help, but there is no real discussion to be had with these fucking Mullah fanatics. They probably want to kill him more because he is a westerner. Maybe a big bribe could be a way…

While i really dont like Asselborn, i dont think he can do much to help the situation either.
This is basically an islamic dictactorship experiencing heavy protest/revolution so you could say its the people waging war against their opressors, which also means casualties on both sides until that war is won by either party.
