Why is it that the public can be supportive of unions getting 18% pay increase for their private sector member, but if its public sector we have to deal with it.
In HMRC for example, since 2008 all but the lowest grade have suffered a pay decrease when compared to CPI and now the lowest 2 grades have the same salary which is less than £1 above minimum wage
In some cases staff at lidl earn more money than public sector staff, yet they are considered too important to strike.
