I have covid now, actually really sick with it this time. Going to miss Christmas. Isolating from my fam as they’re clear. Hoping I get to watch my daughter open her presents from afar at least.

Every other person I meet seems to be sick right now but most presume its not covid, just a bad flu. Which, to be fair, is going around too. Testing themselves isn’t even considered.
I’d like to see us start using masks more regularly anyway if your sick.
If your sick with whatever, the least you can do is wear a mask when out of the house and help not spread it to someone else. Not shocking that if we’re not all coughing and sneezing on eachother we’ll be better off.
Just a little bit of personal responsibility can go a long way.
WFH supported and encouraged by the government from September to January would help with this. For those who can.

Many, many people in this country still cannot stay home as either they lose their pay, they’re not allowed, or there’s no one to replace them when they’re out (public services in general).

I’ve tested positive for bout 2 of covid today, was supposed to be flying home tomorrow…have pushed out the flights, a few days for now…Annoying thing is my girlfriend tested positive on Christmas Eve last year right before we were about to drive home for Christmas so didn’t get home last year at all for it 😅
