If you have a ship, and you replace the wooden planks on it one at a time, at what point is it no longer the original ship?
It’s just a joke people wanting to keep the Olden look. It never will be the same. Just let your city transform, except for some real architectal marvels.

Built in 1500. Important info.
We can see how little neo-gothic renovations share with actual historical buildings.
The “restauration” makes the old building look less old than the new ones next to it. Very bad job.
It was demolished and rebuild (with modern materials) in 1973 😓
