A total waste and an environmental disaster, no useful item should be destroyed.
Ship abroad, donate to farms anything but crushing them.
So your telling me these idiots crush a perfectly working bike? Than they have to sell the scrap metal crushed 42 bikes. Dirt Bike: 100-250 lbs (45-113 kg) lets say that they all 113kg 4726 divide that by 907 which you 5.2 scrap metal is trading for 150 pounds per ton so they made **750 pounds** which is around the cost of one of those bikes. FUCKING GENIUS!
Fuck sake lads, I would’ve had one of those if I’d known they were going spare.
> “The idea is to encourage them to get involved in bikes in a good way.”
Why do we have to spend our money “encouraging” feral filth to not break the law?
Utter waste. Absolutely shocking that they think this is fine.
Even selling them for parts would have been better.
Do police not do auctions anymore ? Surly that would be a better use of things than crushing them ?
What a fucking waste of everything.
“Hurr durr watch us turn your property into metal cube”.
Cunts.
None of the bikes shown in the clip have any value at all.
They’re a bunch of crap, you couldn’t give them away for free. If they were involved in accidents, they have frame damage. They’re not road worthy.
So stop complaining about “what a waste”. They are simply compacting trash.
Why not just give them somewhere they can legally ride ,except no nanny Britain couldnt have that. Yeah that’s a total waste.
Hope they do this to the idiots who take the mufflers off their bikes in my area.
The ‘turning point’ to *enforce* the actual fecking law was: some mud was sprayed up on a police car? And their response was to destroy thousands of pounds of what was then public property?
Would be nice if our police could refrain from being a bloody embarrassment for a bit. That would send a good message imo.
There are loads of places, sure I have one it’s forty miles from my house I live in East Anglia, just a pain getting there. Need a trailer etc just think setting up places like that should be easier.
