15 minute wait time after a vaccine being scrapped

  1. I assume the reasoning is lack of serious cases of reactions during those 15 minutes. I would say they will let people stay who are worried though

  2. Zero medical knowledge here but if you’ve already had two shots of a particular vaccine, you’re surely unlikely to have a reaction to a third.

  3. It will only speed things up if the places have additional quantities to fill the gap.

Mom was in getting hers today with the GP. Nurse said today was the last day they were able to give out the boosters cause they were running out of them and not getting more for a while, and that the same was happening cross the entire town.

  4. Should mean that they’ll be able to administer vaccines pretty much anywhere now?

Means pharmacies can get back valuable “Yankee Candles stacked to ceiling” space before Christmas.

  5. It’s great, just got a booster appointment, local GP, only 30, thought I’d have to wait a couple months. Must be able to go through them quicker!

  6. Things sure have changed. When I got my first vaccine afterwards I got to sit down in a nice waiting area and was given a club milk bar and a can of Fanta. It’s all been downhill since then.

  7. You never HAD to wait the 15 anyway. It’s just “advised”. I just said I couldn’t stay after my two in Croker.
