2 beers.
you could buy Gromperekichelcher
I believe it was the same value as the Belgian Frank so it should have been worth € 2,5 when we changed.
1 euro = 40,3399 BEF/LUF
I remember 1 coffee used to be around 30-35 Franks in a café and it would be upped to 1 euro. People were furious that it would cost that much…
My grandpa always said “that was x frank before the euro”. When the currency switched, it would be about 2,5€ (40 Frank ^= 1€) but seen from today, I wouldn’t even say that this is even 1€ (inflation, price rising, other standards which 2001 didn’t exist)
Half a pack of french fries with a sausage.
hooo joli billet tout de même pour les numismates ^^
I didn’t know such hobbies are popular in Serbia
My first pack of cigs cost one of those.
5 cocs cola cans from the school vending machine (20 francs each)
Thanks for posting this! I still remember trying to save up 10,000 francs for a kaya. I was very proud when I had my first 1000 francs bill. / born in 1989
