I met PJ once in a bar in Toronto. Chatted for a while and he asks me and my Mrs to come to a 10 min slot he had on that night in a comedy club. We got all of our friends to go and PJ was the best act of the night by far. He’s a sound lad.

A few years back, PJ played a gig in The Dew Drop in Kildare. There’s a man who lives in the local village there, was born with a tumour behind the bones of his face and he needed surgery to remove it and he was left looking quite ‘different’, and he was at the show (as was I) and PJ mocked and belittled and harassed that man during his show to sich an extent that he reduced a grown man to tears and he hid in the bathroom until Pj left the stage due to the insults he was subjected to.
Don’t be so quick to defend someone. Yes, he’s doing a good thing by speaking about his own mental health. But what about that other man’s health? Didn’t seem to matter a few years back.
I’m not saying McGregor is right, as he is just as bad. If not worse. We’re all on the group chats, we all see the shit he does. But neither of these men are angels.
