Bought of an Irish shop online ages ago. Just got to wrapping it today and there was a hand written thank you note. I dunno whether to be happy or sad about this but it just made my day.

It is a nice touch and a reminder of why buying local has such a big impact. I love getting notes like this and it is one of the reasons I try to buy from Irish online shops!
Extremely expensive though. Note is nice and all but doesn’t meant their not a rip off. The shop in Stephens green has a similar demeanor, it relies a lot on referrals and word of mouth.
Been there a few times. My go to spot for suits.
Incredible service everytime. Its expensive for everyday bits, but €300 for a three piece is fairly good considering they literally needed 20 parachutes of material to make my ones.
Are those shoes part of an ogre costume?
It’s nice, I got a handwritten note before with shoes and I was very pleased and rather cheered up👍
I bought everything off independent Irish shops online and I got a good few of these. I was delighted. Finally felt like it was worth spending all that money on presents 😁
I recently ordered hot sauce for my husband and brother for Christmas from Mic’s Chilli. I also got a lovely handwritten note and a free extra bottle of sauce. I was having a crappy day when I received it and it really put a smile on my face!
Did your local pharmacist write it?
Mate of mine started an online business selling kitchen stuff years ago (like 2006 odd) and their selling point was that every order that went out had a personalised hand written note. They sold the business last year for the equivalent of about €30 million
