This looks pretty decent!
For anyone who never heard of this: Skalagrim says this movie has one of the most realistic movie swordfights that probably at least makes it worth to see that!

Hmmm some good looking polish actors… gotta look this up
It’s not a tradition in my home but I have a friend whose whole family is OBSESSED with Potop. They watch it EVERY time it is on TV and can speak fluently using just the quotes from the movie. Absolute classic
This movie is amazing. The 5 hour run means you need to stock up with beer and snacks properly first.
It has some insanely long cuts that just keep going and going in one take.
It’s worth mentioning that the *Potop* is only the second part of *The Trilogy* of historical novels (and later movies) by Henryk Sienkiewicz.
Other movies, *The Colonel Wołodyjowski* and *The Fire and Sword* were also super productions in their times, but *Potop* is decidedly the best of three.
We made this tradition possible.
Just to make it clear, this is absolute fake information.
99% of people in Poland watch Home Alone and to be honest it is the first time I Heard of anyone watching Potop at christmas.
Care to explain OP?
