Johnson thinking that the rules which we have to abide with are the same rules for him?

When you remember how miserable we all were when the new restrictions were announced and the Christmas rules were made stricter, especially in and around London, this is just so selfish.
Clever of Johnson, instead of breaking the rules this Christmas he plans to ignore the sound advice given him by Dr Jenny Harries, chief executive of the UK’s Health Security Agency:
It’s interesting that this is only coming out now.
I would assume the source for this is Dominic Cummings, although he’s not usually one to shy away from taking full credit for something like this. I guess the Barnard Castle events would slightly dilute the potency of the article if he named himself as the source.
Or it’s yet another person from inside the Tory camp that wants Johnson out.
Either way I expect this won’t be the first such revelations over the coming weeks.
At the risk of being controversial. Who gives a fudge anymore? Honestly shall we just live our lives again? It’s a virus the we’ll always be variances. We can’t continue to live in fear of this.

If this is true, it’s absolutely disgusting. The whole of the south-east was plunged into Tier 4 just days before the 25th, and told no travel, no Christmas (outside of the limited support bubbles for single occupancy households). Absolutely reprehensible.
Also, if someone knew about this at the time but has only just gone public a full year on, they are a disgrace too.
I always thought my father was pessimistic and negative about politics, but his constant point of “it’s one rule for them and another for us” rings true pretty much every day lately.
