First, they fail to send me a bill for 4+ months.
Then they say they’re increasing the amount they’ll pay me for excess power put back on the grid from solar panels.
And now they’re literally just giving customers money?!
Also, I probably should be pressuring them to give me €40 since they took more than 3 weeks to respond to my “you never sent me a bill” email.
So if they admit they’re making unprecedented profits and are giving rebates, why aren’t they charging a fair price in the first place?
Probably better for consumers than waiting for something from the windfall tax on profits.
Great news!
Hopefully others will be in a position to follow, esp Airtricity who as a renewables based supplier have enjoyed high wholesale prices but not higher source costs so profits are huge
Is it just the Republic or do we in northern Ireland get the same?
Great news. With all the credits from the government as well my account could be in credit till June!
Not sure this makes up for the big discount current and former ESB employees get on their bills, but at least it’s something.
