Why use a reindeer sled when being the really cool Joulupukki on a helicopter is a possibility? This is from around 1960 but I don´t really understand the panda´s role. Anyone?

The Panda might be a mascot for the candy company Panda. Dunno about the tiger.
We got a rent-a-santa 20 years ago for the kids. He arrived in a 1986 Nissan and slammed into my mother in laws walking sled. He then slipped on the kitchen floor and went to the toilet for 20 minutes. After he left the toilet it looked, and smelled, like the WC at Itäkeskus. He was actually drinking and smoking in the toilet while we waited in the living room like idiots for him to hand out the gifts that he had not brought in from outside.
He acted like we had invited him over to spend Xmas eve with us.
I had to drive him home.
