Is Serbia and most its people dilussional and living on nonsensical myths how the entire world bre! attacked them for no reason? Sure. Are they on the wrong side geopolitically? Yes.
However, Peć was the backbone and heart of Serb religious and cultural life in the dark days of early Ottoman rule.
Porfirije is the head of the second biggest religious groups in Kosovo and this behaviour is unacceptable.
Relations between the two seemed better during the days of Thaci and Haradinaj, whom, if memory serves me right, Serbia considers guilty of terrorism and war crimes.
Offtopic but… Anything pro Kosovo gets deleted on this sub. And this gets shared with no problem.
The Serbian Orthodox church is and always has been a tool of Serbian ultra-nationalism, they should be restricted wherever possible. Serbian priests used to bless war criminals in the 90s. They are not some innocent organization.
Its crazy that there are people on this sub supporting Serbia ( A Russian ally), using Russian hybrid warfare “Peoples Republic” tactics to invade a neighbouring state Kosovo
