  1. Idiotic death cult of weirdo virgins celebrate the biologically impossible while dressed up like 19th century prostitutes.

  2. Immacolata was awesome, like a Christmas preview. Also, where I grew up we had San Nicolò (legacy of the Hapsburg Empire) on December 6, so I’d start getting presents by then. Woohoo!

  3. Wow so many comments making fun of catholics… Really saddening, although it’s reddit, what am I expecting…

  4. That’s nice Italian fratello! Today is also national holiday in Spain. I can’t wait to spend a Christmas holidays in Rome. It must be amazing during this time of the year! Thanks for sharing! ♥

  5. Your tithing hard at work right here. Those vestments don’t come cheap, neither does all that gold adorning the alter. I’m sure this is right in line with what Jesus was talking about, “Sell everything you own, give it to the poor and come follow me because your treasure is in heaven.” and the church just conveniently edited out the part, “yet do it blinged out as hard as you can, cause you deserve to look like Mr. T.”

  6. Why Do people here not understand that the immaculate conception is not about Jesus’s conception but about Mary’s it’s when she was conceived it was immaculate because she was conceived without sin

  7. Che splendore di cattedrale.. Tra l’altro sono tornato a messa oggi dopo un anno, e non mi sono mai sentito così bene.

  8. I’m not religious, but I think that people who want to make fun about catholic theology should at least know the difference between immaculate conception and virgin birth of Jesus.

  9. In my childhood, it was a Holy Day of obligation, which meant you had to go to mass. Now, not too many go on Sunday, never mind these other days.
