UK says EU must concede more on Brexit

  1. UK signed agreements they didn’t comply with.

From an EU perspective, the argument for changing some things now is that it would help in practical ways in NI, and has little practical consequence for the rest of the EU.

But constantly changing, switching demands from the UK, even they don’t even pretend to uphold any agreement – Cummings even said they never intended to – is no base for any new agreement. It’s an argument to block Frost’s mobile everywhere in Brussels.

  2. We really can’t have goods freely “smuggled” in by NI through England, Wales and Scotland and bootlegged into the EU by Ireland. It could undercut the entire system.

  3. I’ve reached my “unregistered limit” on Reuters, and the cutting the network trick doesn’t seem to work for their site. Would someone mind posting the article please, I’d be interested to read what the UK government has actually said?

  4. Or perhaps the UK has to concede that Brexit had some bad consequences one of them being the NI Protocol

  5. Meanwhile China says everyone should be more communist, scientists found out that grass is green, and water, would you believe it, is wet.
