That’s really irresponsible. It’s one thing to say there is no need for people to cancel private family gatherings; but to promote useless company staff dos like this is insane. People will just catch whatever variant is going around and then pass it on to granny at Christmas.
Ours was cancelled. As per usual, higher ups get to spend more time with their families and young professionals don’t even get the chance to socialise with their teams.
Pay no attention to the looming crisis, please continue to stimulate the economy. Thank you.
Yet. We won’t know more about the Omicron variant for at least another 7-10 days. You might not need to cancel plans yet, maybe not at all, however the government’s consistent failures to handle new variants is always going to worry people.
Uh oh ‘big turkey’ have got to the government. Did anyone make sure he didn’t have a sharpened wishbone held to his neck when he said this?
