Fiscal responsibility shouldnt be party specific it’s a duty of government. This battle isn’t ideologically driven it’s a matter of allocating the funds that are available, within limits.
So I assume everyone’s angry with SNP now too.
Some people really do believe the SNPs fantasy that this is a result of UK cuts..
You do realise the cuts are down here too right?
Where do you think the imaginary money is going to come from?
Scotland sends less money to the UK than it gets back, the nation runs at a gross deficit and always has done for yonks.
It’s a material fact. It doesn’t matter if Scotland went independent it won’t change the status quo other than alleviate the hatred of the English…
Then as is another fact.. 60% of Scottish exports go south of the wall..
Look at NI protocol.. wave goodbye to that number..
Watch the debt grow..
But then what people don’t seem to grasp, post independence.. there is no need for the SNP and will likely disband..
Back to the Tories, Labour and or Greens then..

There just isn’t the money, we are still paying for a pandemic and will be for sometime.
As a lower band NHS worker, I’m not happy we are losing out on an 11% rise decided by a union of higher band workers. The rise with backpay would be very helpful but this could delay it for months. 🙁
How the fuck is there not enough money to pay the fucking smashing people who work for the NHS?
The money wasted on shite, daily, by those in charge is absolutely unbelievable yet they can’t find the dough to keep the best people in the best health service in the world happy?
