I’m contemplating about gifting a friend a plot of land in scotland via https://establishedtitles.com/ and was wondering if he could update his official documents like ID or Passport with a title, since he would be a “Lord” now according to the website?

You cannot update a Swiss ID or passport with any kind of title: Neither Lord, Master, Doctor, King, nor Queen.
