LadBaby make UK chart history with fifth consecutive Christmas number one

  1. Does anyone really care about Christmas No. 1 anymore? BBC measuring it against The Beatles record means virtually nothing because in today’s world it’s not an achievement. The real achievement if anything is what’s done well the entire year, and even then it’s questionable how that’s measured.

  2. They’re worse than Simon cowell. Hellbent on spoiling the Christmas charts with a slew of dog shit singles year after year. Totally forgettable and utterly annoying. They can fuck right off.

  3. Don’t like or trust these people, wouldn’t be surprised if they were as charitable as the Captain Tom Foundation. It’s funny how back in my day everyone moaned about Simon Cowell ‘ruining the Christmas Number One’ but at least those people were somewhat talented. I have a lot of respect for Martin Lewis but this is a rare L from him!

  4. He’s an absolute prick. Was at the same beach club in Ibiza as us and he thought he was the absolute biggest star in the world

I can guess he was spending that charity money

  5. If you want to make a donation to a worthy charity, do so directly. Why buy a shit low-effort single like this which you will never play again. On top of that I suspect this guy has got his fingers in the till as much as he has his unwelcome hand on arses.

  6. Voting tories to increase food bank usage then making songs about how people have to use foodbanks.

Good strategy to make yourself rich that is.

  7. Wish they’d use their platform to criticise the government that are responsible for the rise of food banks instead of allegedly voting Tory.

But the fact is these two benefit from the need of charities. Their net worth has risen from £71,339 in 2018 to £1.4m in 2021. Not saying that comes solely from their cut of the singles but releasing these singles every year definitely doesn’t hurt promoting them and getting money from other sources like YouTube monetisation.

  8. I have no idea who they are or what their music sounds like, but I hate them for the name alone.

The bloke looks like the sort of person to watch Ant & Dec in his new-build on an oversized TV.

  9. well, at least its not that glam rock tosser from last week calling everyone benefit scroungers again.

  10. I’ve heard some terrible stories about LadBaby, and the way he attacks anyone who dares make a record at Christmas and threatens his chances at number one is really gross.

People wo pretend to be matey and are just knobheads annoys me, he’s another James Corden.

He’s not doing it for charity and anyone who looks at them just more than a second can see that. Unfortunately most people don’t and will give their money to him instead of a charity.

Also, he votes Tory and (nominally anyway) supports charity to pay for meals in order to let the tories get away with not actually helping poor children eat.

  11. This was literally the first year I heard the song when they mentioned it on Sky Sports, I guess a mixture of Covid and not driving to work meant it passed me by

  12. This is grim. Not the song. The fact that homelessness and starvation are now regarded as the status quo for the UK. Anyone voting for the Tory’s should be regarded as traitors to their country.
