  1. Out of anywhere I’ve traveled I think the best food was in Malaysia, yet apparently it’s below England, and the US beats France? Shite list.

  2. This is the worst list I’ve ever seen. German food is amongst the worst in the world. Thai food is top 10, no doubt.

  3. I’m shocked by Bratwurst and Schnitzels being so highly rated!

Then there’s Faggots, Pork pies, Cornish Pasties, Yorkshire pudding from England. All of which I like but hardly anyone’s idea of cuisine.

  4. When I lived in Japan I was genuinely blown away by their food. And this is coming from someone who hates fish with a burning passion. The freshness of the ingredients is simply unmatched. You could eat anywhere from a dingy, scruffy raman shop to the highest end sushi restaurant, everything was just bueatful. And Wagyu beef… Christ almighty it has no right tasting as good as it does, though its definitely only a once a month treat as its extremely rich… And expensive!

  5. Tbf Ireland didn’t have much of a chance to develop a cuisine due to being plundered and the vast majority of the population not being able to afford different ingredients.
Where Ireland excels is in the quality of the produce, especially beef.

  6. Private company makes pointless list to generate free media coverage. My niece and nephew could make a “best colours in the world” list and it would have as much validity as this nonsense.

  7. I’m from Chicago & we have as a City several dishes that distinctly ours: deep dish pizza (invented at Pizza Uno) then the classic dipped beef sandwich on a Vienna role w/giardiniere peppers & finally the iconic Chicago style hot dog w/everything (no ketchup ever on a Chicago dog) – so the US has amazing local & regional cuisine-Southern cooking is mouthwatering

  8. Lebanon at 40 is scandalous! Lebanese food is fantastic.

US at 8 shows that this must have been a list compiled by lard arse yanks

  9. US above France is mental. Lebanese food is great and my experience with food in Czech Republic was awful. Definitely the worst general quality of anywhere I’ve travelled. Maybe bad luck!

  10. First 3 are European cuisine which probably tells you everything you need about this list.

That and the US ranking so high and England being on it at all!

  11. I think this is what people are used to eating and it being associated with that country. Nothing to do with hygiene and standards. Who did they survey?
