Two men charged after New Year’s Day Dublin city centre assaults

  1. 4 comments and a heap of ‘people here’ in the comment section. All waiting on the fire to begin. I’ll start it..

Religion of peace at it again?

  2. Since people seem to want a fire I’ll start.

If these men are not citizens they should be deported. If they are citizens they should be treated like everyone else would be.

  3. Discussions around immigration need to be had but in a mature way from both sides.

Every time there is an incident like this we get the out and out paranoid racists on one side and the hyper politically correct diversity champions on the other with the middle being drowned out.

We need immigration, we can’t function without it and we simply wont be able to support our aging population otherwise or obtain the skills and labour we need for a modern society.

However if we hypothetically identify someone who moved here illegally is a criminal then they should be deported.

Destroying your travel documents at the airport to game the system after arriving from another European country should be a criminal offence if proven. Deported.

Any scamming, fraud, drug offences or assaults, not a citizen, then good luck. We have enough home grown scum bags to deal with.

We can then get a point where a rational discussion can be had which will show that immigrant troublemakers are in the minority and in the main just came here to get on.

  4. The Indo always publishes the pics when the perps are foreign or even better, non-white. How many stories about assaults have you read in the Indo or the Journal where Irish scumbags don’t get named/photo’d/shamed ?
