Seems to be a lot of murders in Cork over the last 20 years or so. Disproportionate to the rest of the country, population of Cork aside.
Seems like violence and violent related deaths is nearly becoming common place over last number of years….
What would your thoughts be on, say he’s convicted, being sent back to Brazil to serve his sentence?

WTF is it with women being brutally killed by men? This poor girl and the girl in Lurgan. Only recent examples.
Feckin heartbreaking, need a crackdown on violent crime
Its getting harder and harder to respect any opinions here. Some people putting the issue solely down to male on female violence, others saying we need to somehow crack down on violent crimes as if it is not correlated to anything. You really need to start asking yourselves some hard questions.
Foreign v Foreign so wont be in the news headlines for long and wont be used as ammunition to blame all irish men a la Ashling Murphy until people discovered the perpetrators nationality.
To the “it’s not all men, but it’s always men” crowd. What do you actually think could be done to stop this? Brazilian guy did it, so how is it any of us Irish mens problem??
