Nailed it
In general we are a fair bit fatter
That’s what I normally wear to a serious event like a funeral. Very traditional.
Brilliant. It’s great seeing us represented far and wide. The claddagh ring as a angel head is a nice touch
Looks better than the array of scrotes walking around town.
I think they’re bland, spreadable cheese. Whadaya gonna do?
I mean, it’s not far off. We all have big green white and orange hoops in our wardrobes.
It’s part of the Irish citizenship test for immigrants, too. Gotta build your own costume.
Looks like a biblically accurate angel from Ireland getting a piggyback ride from an American.
Odd all the attacks on Irish America here. They just keep coming.
It’s better than spreadable cheese and Tom Hanks with Aids I suppose
Lived in Philly for a year and I wonder if they still do the ‘Running of the Micks?’
It was a big pub crawl around Paddy’s Day time if I remember correctly.
Aside from the name, had a great time in Philly. And being Irish there you got plenty of free booze and party invites week in week out.
You’ve clearly never been to Roscommon
🤣
To be fair, you’d have seen plenty of such outfits at Patrick’s Day parades…
Pretty accurate. I was doing exactly this for about two hours earlier in the front garden.
I got dizzy though and it started to rain, so I had to come in. Still, I got my steps in.
She pronounces Claddagh likes she’s saying Piña Colada..
Fair play for knowing the term tho.
It’s a nightmare trying to squeeze onto a Dublin ~~bus~~ donkey & cart in the morning with everyone wearing these.
Did they base this on that crazy priest who likes interrupting sporting events?
Looks like most Irish St patricks day parades. Are we supposed to be offended?
On a bank holiday weekend at 12 this is ireland 100%
All wires and shit around your tv upset me
Distinct lack of alcohol
Revenge for what you did to the banjo
American here from outside Philly..I loved reading the comments. In defense of the Mummers Parade, all the costumes are way- way over the top. They have a section of the parade called the Fancy Division, it’s comprised of guys dressed in glittery and feathery costumes. Many of the marchers are drunk.
Even the string bands are in outrageous costumes.
The people of Philadelphia are pretty stupid, but this is next level bad
Typically skits performed by mummers are satirical and not known for realism.
Ah sure, let him take the piss
If I may, as someone who lives in Philly, the mummers parade is a day where everybody dresses in crazy costumes and drinks till they’re insane. This has very little to do with your country at all and this guy was most likely blackout already.
It’s the mummers parade. They wear crazy ass shit.
