Frankly speaking, I do not believe in any polls in Russia. It is not because all of the researchers are acting in bad faith (e.g. Levada seems to be legit), but people simply refuse to participate in the poll or do not tell what they really think. It is part of their culture I guess.
In a nutshell, we do not really see what’s going on there and the events may start to happen in a second.

As a person living in Russia I always laugh when I see polls like this. I always ask a simple question.
If Putin has an approve rating of 80% then why he and his party “United Russia” have to rig the election and the referendum on the Constitution when you have an approve rating of 80%?????
