Romania and Croatia flying the fishbeds be like: *insert ironic gigachad meme*
This is false information, Finland and Sweden are not (yet) in Nato.
Why does it say 80 F-35s but the picture shows 110?
The real question is how many of them are actually operational. From what I know Germans have some problems with their aircraft. The situation with Polish MiGs isn’t much better.
This isn’t a good comparison i think. Some long lifed aircrafts have very very different configurations which could easily put them into different categories.
Russian invasion showed us these kind of number comparisons is nothing by themselves. They had 5th gen aircrafts, very large tank divisions, but here we are
I know it’s borderline arbitrary, but both Gripen and some of the F-16 models are generally considered 4.5. also later versions of the F/A-18, but I don’t know if anyone use them in Europe.
P.s. and as the others have pointed out, not in Nato.

I thought Gripens were considered 4.5th gen.
