Can you all please look out for this car? I had parked at Custom Hall, Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin around 11.40 pm (31Dec2022). Came back an hour later to see it was missing. Reported to Garda as well. 🙁

  1. Probably gonna be used in a break in/robbery somewhere and dumped somewhere, just hope they aren’t smart enough to burn it out and it should turn up!

Also there is a chance it could be stolen to be striped down and parted up in which case it won’t turn up.

  2. Sorry for your loss. A really shitty way to start the new year.

For the rest of you that are still fortunate enough to have your cars, consider getting one of these. Autocar’s best buy for trackers and really inexpensive, and they work worldwide (except for Australia). Great customer support too.

  3. Few months ago I was sitting upstairs on a bus heading home passing Custom Hall, Lower Gardiner Street, bus was going slow as always and stopping often. On the sidewalk just below me there was this scum walking and casually trying to open every single car which was parked there. Obviously trying his luck hoping one car will be open. The brazen idiot didn’t even realise the whole bus was literary staring at him from above. The moral of the story – we need Batman.

  4. The way you describe when you realise it is like the Brendan Behan version where a young butcher bike boy describes to a Garda that “I came outside for my bike, and there it was, gone”. Anyway best of luck and I hope you recover your car. I should repeat that in that area car thieves are rampant and you should try to use a car park with security.
