I have created a small python script that lets you export the waste collection calendar from Recycle! to your favorite calendar application.
This script uses the Recycle! API to look up all waste collection dates for your address (only Belgian addresses) and packages them in a calendar format (ICS) that you can import into any calendar application
To run it on Windows, you have to execute the main script using Python. An executable is available for macOS and Linux, which you can run in a terminal.
Should you be checking in the `x-secret`? Does seem pretty harmless, but likely could be used to deny access or limit the authentication of some sort?
It uses the same `x-secret` in my own browser session though.
The Recycle app doesn’t do push notifications on my phone anymore, so thanks a lot for this!
Gotta love how they developed their own app instead offering an export service to the agendas people already use.
